Meet Robin J. Kantor
Robin J. Kantor began her law career in 1988 handling bankruptcy and matrimonial cases as a clerk to the Honorable Cornelius Blackshear, United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of New York. She has additionally been employed by some of the tri-state area's highest profile firms, including Ravin, Sarasohn, Cook, Baumgarten, Fisch and Rosen in Roseland, New Jersey, and the presitgious Park Avenue law firm Herrick, Feinstein.
Throughout her career, Ms. Kantor has given numerous lectures on the interrelationship between bankruptcy and divorce to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Rockland County Bar Association, and the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association. Ms. Kantor has also been a member of the prominent Family Law Inns of Court. Furthermore, she is a member of the New York State Bar Association and Rockland County Collaborative Law Network and is a trained collaborative lawyer and mediator. Ms. Kantor is one of only a few attorneys who has been awarded the Equal Justice Medal by the State of New Jersey for her representation of clients in the Family Courts of the State of New Jersey
In 2011, Ms. Kantor formed the law firm of Robin J. Kantor & Associates, PLLC., a boutique matrimonial and family law firm that proudly serves the needs of matrimonial clients in Rockland and Orange Counties, the Lower Hudson Valley, Northern New Jersey, and New York City.
